Live in Brisbane
Not On Your Rider is Brisbane’s very own cult music trivia game show that runs several times a year at The Triffid and at the Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals.
Think of it like a mix between a music pub trivia night and your favourite pop quiz shows like Spicks & Specks and Never Mind The Buzzcocks - except you get to play along. You can get as involved in the competition as you like or just sit back and enjoy the show.
How it works
About the hosts
Featuring your regular host Aimon Clark (Isolation Trivia, The Creases) and team captains Patience Hodgson (The Grates) & Jeremy Neale (Jeremy Neale, Velociraptor) along with a rotating panel of guests from across the entertainment industry.
Past guests have included Robert Irwin, Kate Miller-Heidke, Agro, Ben Lee, Murray Cook (The Wiggles), Cal Wilson, Broden Kelly (Aunty Donna), Trent Dalton, Steven Bradbury, Claire Hooper, Craig Lowndes, Ranger Stacey, Mel Buttle, Nick Cody, Mark Holden, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, Tim Rogers and members of Powderfinger, Ball Park Music, The Jungle Giants, The Go-Betweens, Dune Rats, The Chats, DZ Deathrays, Ruby Fields and Washington.
About the event
You’ll be playing on a table with your team alongside special guests on stage. In between questions and rounds we will hear stories from the music industry as well as mini games involving the crowd. Covering all decades and genres - rally your team together for a night of surprises, fun and heaps of prizes.
